Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish!

Thanks to Ray Beech of Rye who took the following photos and posted them on Facebook:

In Ray's words:

"SORRENTO: Welcome to Maccas! Nearest maccas is 15km away, yet 8.30am 30th April, you have it on the doorstep. Imagine what it will be like if a Macca opens at Rye! "Quick grab a Burger, coke and fries before the ferry; chuck the rubbish out on the way"

Egad, surely your protest will get taken more seriously if you resist the urge to post stupid things like this. How ignorant do you have to be to draw such negativity from a piece of trash that some thoughtless moron drops. I assume the local food traders serve their food without package do they? If not, why aren't they held responsible for the trash people drop, is it because the origin of a plain white sandwich bag is impossible to determine? I've seen plenty of trash on the streets of Rye, and there is very rarely a large M to be seen.
Maccas do not sell cigarettes or cans of drink or serve food in white(bleached) paper bags, if you were really concerned with the trash in Rye you'd be better off attacking the local traders and locals in general.

Also, do your due diligence before making derogatory comments about how Maccas treat staff. Their ex-staff are highly valued in the hospitality industry due to their great training, I doubt your other local traders can say the same. As for the jobs created, I guess no jobs are better than those terrible part time things you refer to, at least that's how your opinion sounds.

I saw a TAB ticket on the ground in Rye, should the pub be closed down? What about that newspaper blowing in the street? Should the news paper people being banned from delivering to Rye?
